VIA VERRATA

Safety climbing on sheer rock walls. We go the via ferrata Karhorn in Warth. This is a light version where you need no previous knowledge. You have to be free from giddiness and have a good conditcion. 

Meeting place is in Warth on the station at the bottom of a ski lift called "Steffisalp". There you can do the first 350 m by the lift (the price for it is not included) or you can go for a walk about 45 minutes. After this we came to the via ferrata and climb about 2 hours to the "Karhorn" peak. On the top of it we have a look for a wonderful panorama. We need about 90 minutes to climb down. 

You have to bring alpine boots or trekking shoes, sun- or rain protection and perhaps a snack with you. Most important is a lot to drink!
